Moving back to California?

I absolutely hated living in TX for a year. I’d not move to California for anything in the world though. You should try other states. Lol

The people hating on CA are 99% comprised of miserable sour pusses who can’t afford it.

Just goole searched. Didnt realized there were multiple Sharkeez locations. I lived across from the Manhattan Beach one...also in overpriced condos, but did super work for the landlord on the side for basically free rent.

 

Born and raised in California. Lived in the Bay Area. Wife and I made a combined $150,000 a year and I had a two hour commute a day total. Lived in a small house in a middle class area. 4 years ago Got a chance to relocate to Northern Nevada and the wife and I took the leap. Took a big pay cut but I live in a much bigger house, much less taxes, and more free time. So happy we took the jump. Money isn't everything. The only thing I miss in CA is the weather sometimes.

 

And their negative attitudes toward CA and it's residents will derail this thread eventually

 

Yup, one of the very few things I miss.

 

i’ve lived in San Diego my entire life other than three years in Texas. If it wasn’t for my daughters mother wanting to stay here, I would move tomorrow.

trust me, I have no problem affording to live here. Don’t be so quick to assume, good sir

 

We’re from SoCal, left in 1990. Moved to north Texas in 2010 and back to SoCal for work in 2016. Just moved to OK (with a $25k pay cut) this January and not looking back.

All that to say CA sucks, there is nothing about it that I miss.

 

I moved from OKC to DFW in 2014, I dont think you could convince me to move back to OK. Lol.

 

DFW is too busy for me! We were just there last weekend

 

yeah the one I went to was literally on the beach at newport. $14M condos around it. You have to want to live on a Cali beach REALLY bad to pay that. id have a nice property here and a beach front property in the carribean for that kind of coin. Lol.

 

my thoughts exactly!! My sister live about and hour south of Dallas and it is QUIET!! 1700 sq/ft house on 4 acres and a pond? Yes please

 

It's definitely busy. And you saw it during a downtime. The traffic is still probably about half what it was pre-rona. My wife was commuting 29 miles each way and we were spending close to $3k a year in tolls.
