Lol I was only trying to move a tote upstairs and I'm the one who packed and moved it in the first place.

But I mean if you're volunteering then I can totally wait till you arrive and sit here and direct the moving of shit around this house

A question to any whateveroids who may have experience with pavement, asphalt and concrete.

They paved the alley behind my garage, which is great, but I now have this little threshold of dirt/grass/gravel between the new pavement and my garage.

What are my options for bridging this gap and making it look better?

I would put pavers down. Gravel would be cheaper but you always pick it up with your tires and you'll have to maintain it continually.

Just my .02 and it's the first thing that comes to mind that would look nice.

Pavers would be good. Rip all that stuff out along with making the asphalt the same distance from the doors at all spots.

I agree with the others about pavers but my question is why didn't they pave right up to your garage?

Is that area considered private property owned by you? Is it an easement? The way it was done seems very odd to me. :notsure:

Thanks to all for the advice.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of old concrete under the dirt/grass areas so I can’t excavate to put pavers in.
I was thinking of something I can put on top, like an asphalt sealer or something similar.

That’s a good question, not sure why they did it that way.
