Tail lights on with drl

hello everyone. First post here after lurking for a while. So I just added raptor lights that I tapped into the drl wires. I tapped the pink and green wires so that they would be on constantly. Now the tail and license plate lights come on with the drl. Should I just use an add a fuse instead? Or is there something else to try? Thanks in advance.

 

Welcome. There's a dude in Puerto Rico that can help. You don't have to fly there, he'll probably chime in.

 

Tapping into the 10A INJ fuse with the add-a-fuse will allow the raptor lights to stay on when the battery and/or the engine is on. I think the add-a-fuse is the recommended version because it don't usually void or mess up other components.

Tapping the pink n green mates 2 circuits...when DRL is ON you feed the Parking/Tail. When the headlights are ON (low beam) DRL is OFF but you keep it ON by mating it with the Tail/Parking circuit.



There a few ways to feed the added grill lamps...search it.
