Cali Raised Fog Light Pod Bracket Question

I just picked up some caliraised dog light pod brackets that replace the circle oem lights, but looking at their install video these look slightly different.

It still has the shroud replacement piece so I know it’s for the 3rd gen, but the bracket that the lights mount to look different. Anyone familiar with these and can tell me if I’m just dumb or they are actually different?

 

I have the Cali’s.....that bracket is not the same one I have. Mine was a “U” bracket that held the fog light.

 

That’s what I thought. Still haven’t figured out what these are for

Should still work they just have ugly visible hardware on the front

 

was the u bracket supposed to be used? ,mine didn't come with any instructions

 

Hi Sean, there should be a little paper that says go to our YouTube for installation instructions.

 

yeah it does except YouTube doesn't show the pods getting mounted to the brackets. the guy just has it all mounted then puts it on the truck..

 

The mounting the pod to the bracket is quite simple, the U Mount is pre welded to the fog mount. All you have to do is slider in the pod and secure with the bolts. The supplied U mount is not need. If you are having trouble feel free to PM or our customer service team.
