Anyone shot POF? Im looking at a gen 4 lower from them. Want to place a Geissle upper on it.

 

So this happened. The comp M5 came in and I was a dumbass. After a couple beers I decided to open the box, once I did that and had it in my hand I mounted it. Now I don't want to return it, guess I'll have a spare comp M4S, oh well. Still getting the thermal I want for hog hunting.

 

What do you see as the different between M4S/M5 and the ComplML2/PRO? It looks like it is in between size of ML2/PRO and the T2/H2?

I'd also like to get thermal, as gun free as Missouri is, conservation department is a bunch of ,,,,,,,,,,, and has banned hunting with thermal. Supposedly land owners can request written permission from MDC locally for invasive and destructive animals, but it's at their discretion and case by case

 

M4S is about the same size as a ML2/Pro, and has lighter-weight/more bombproof mounting and battery compartment location (compared to the normal M4). M5 is basically a more durable, imperceptibly longer/heavier T2 that runs on AAAs.

 

The biggest difference is size and weight. I went with the M5 because it is being touted as even more rugged that the M4S.

 

Ordered a WOA barrel to replace the BA USPS lost in me and should be here Saturday. Then I can finally complete the upper. Have a Larue MBT2S coming in to finish the lower

Damn she is long! And you will like the mbt2 trigger, I was pleasantly surprised. Only issue is I want to put them in other rifles now too.

Thanks! I sorta stumbled into this one which got me wanting a better upper because the lower was pretty much set. Johnny's reloading bench on YouTube used the same barrel but in 1:7 and had awesome results

 

Magnifier came in.

 

So did one of my CA approved Cross Armory 10/10 mags.

 

those 2nd gen straight pmags are like gold. Don’t sell it. Except to me.
