2020 Trd Sport Quicksand or Cement???

Discontinued due to lack of sales in that color sorry not going to go up in value . Harder to sell since not a popular color .

 

One thing I noticed between the two colors is that the quicksand seem like it doesn’t have a clear coat. For what I can see the cement has a clear coat with a hint of pearl to it as well. Not sure if that’s normal for the quicksand but I heard that the snow white doesn’t have it either and some people had some chipping issues on the paint.

 

I don't know about your market, but the reason they offered you $4k more is because there is no inventory used or NEW, not sure your plan on trying to allocate a new cement or quicksand this late during a pandemic, with dealers commanding MSRP or markup on trucks that do arrive in stock. But hey, maybe your small spot in the world is totally different than the current car market climate or you plan on spending that $4k by overpaying on new.

 

Only single stage is super white.

 

Cement is definitely not single stage. Talked to shop that does repairs on these and they lay pigment, then metallic then clear coat. Its not as flat up close as it looks like from far away.

Honestly, Cavalry Blue is my all time favorite followed by Cement then Quicksand. Cement was the right price when I got mine though. It does hide dirt pretty well but probably not as good as Quicksand. My wife loves when I pick colors that already look like dirt.

 

They don’t have any markup on my region. Dealerships have a list of what is coming to their lot and moving the 2020’s asap for when the new 2021 models arrived, they will not have any discount.

 

I’m partial to the cement as well. I do like the quicksand and think you can’t go wrong with either. Cement seems to hide dust well, but in my experience it shows water spots nearly as bad as black.
I think the only color that hides those is Corolla silver.

 

Those are both great colors. For me Cement gets the vote but not by much. My SR5 is Cement. And that was my first choice, followed by sky silver and quicksand. All three of them look clean even when not so clean.

Most of it will. But i'll end up driving my rig through more bushes in the future....

I like QS because I live in the desert. But if I was some where else I would have gotten cement or white.

 

Either way you should get it wrapped with a tie-dye psychedelic scheme. Actually, nevermind. I'm gonna wrap mine in tie dye. It's gonna be dope

I’ll never understand why people feel the need to ask a bunch of strangers which color they should like better.
