This thread went to pot quickly. Some people are so egotistical they think that anybody who has a different opinion than theirs is an idiot. Chill out guys.
That is what forums are for. To exchange information, learn from other people's knowledge and experience, and draw your own conclusions.

BTW my truck can beat up your truck...

I don't buy oil on demand. I buy it when it's on sale and/or has rebates. A few months ago I found Valvoline Synthetic for a great price. So that's what's currently in the rig. But with a 5 quart jug, that put me about a 1/3 of a quart short. In went some Mobile 1. That's been about 3k miles ago. I know I'm on borrowed time. What was I thinking?

And Meijer has M1 on sale $5 off + plus there's a $10 rebate. They also have M1 filters $2 off. So I stashed that stuff away for next time.

$13.99 a jug + $8 for the filter. $22 oil change for next time. Can't beat that for the "good" stuff.

Also picked up a 103 filter for the wife’s Corolla and some Valvoline 0/20 I have stashed away for next time. Currently it's running a 50/50 mixture of M1 and SuperTech 0/20.

And no....I didn't go after the Truck and SUV flavor. That's just all Meijer had left in 5w-30.

I'm certainly not trying to be egotistical and chastise other's opinions. In fact....just the opposite. People can get really worked up over oil. I usually stay away from oil threads for that reason.

I'm just trying to put people's mind at ease that what whatever they're doing is probably just fine.....and it will take their rig to 200k+ miles as well as any high end juice.

Over and over again it's been proven that there's so little difference in today's oils that measuring advantages and disadvantages is nearly impossible.

We truly live in a time of great oils. Long gone are the days of sketchy products.

It is.....along with it's identical brothers....Amazon Basics, Kirkland (Costco), Meijer and several other house brands. All made by Warren Distribution. One the oldest and most experienced in the business.

In case it's gotten lost in all the fluff. You'll have zero issues switching to M1. And if you want to stay with M1 and run something a little heavier...M1 Truck and SUV is a bit thicker than vanilla M1 and M1 High Mileage is even heavier....close to a lite 40 weight before dilution. All are 5w-30s. Weights are on a spectrum and M1 High Mileage is at the very end of that spectrum.

Really? I thought Costco just rebottled their bulk cooking oil and used the blood, sweat, and tears of their free samples people as additives?!

its great stuff. Been using it for years. Even the new 0w-16 in my new RAV4.

They got into some trouble when little kids started disappearing after sampling free Gold Fish. So they made some formula changes.

And yes...I have zero problems with any Warren product

You always here about the pennzoil and wax controversy. Never this one though. Poor little ones never stood a chance.

What brand of windshield washer fluid are TW members using? Mine is organic and synthetic.

Tropicana but with pulp. The pulp provides better lubrication of the pump. Real washer fluid belongs in the rear differential where it matters most.
