Glad to see those gun laws are helping. Criminals have too many rights. 13 arrests and a history of domestic abuse, sounds like they should have run for mayor.

Real people who do real research about the problems in our present society will tell you this is 100% the greatest impact on crime & poverty. Nobody will touch it with a 10 foot pole but single parenthood just isn't cutting it. It's been glorified by TV shows and movies for decades now like having a baby is a new hair style. Politicians will not touch it as people can't seem to separate religion (you need to be married first!!) from taking control of your life on the most basic level..they should be teaching kids in high school or even I guess middle school based on pregnancy rates about the massive anchor single motherhood is on your life. You want to talk about the wage gap? How about a parenting gap! In the 1960s the rate of single parenthood was near 25% today it's in the high 70%. As you can imagine it's only gotten more expensive to live alone. In all reality the women are in charge. If all the women told every man no things will change really fast :)
Sorry about your mom that really sucks. I'm guessing she had some significant issues because women really don't leave children like that. Maybe in hindsight you were better off without that? Single fatherhood must have been a hurricane for your dad...you ever get a chance to just sit with him and just have a "that was crazy, but thanks" conversation? Oh and about the license to have children...it's always crazy to see a woman to go to jail and lose custody of her children...is pregnant again.

At my wedding my dad apologized for not being there, but didn’t change. He may have seen my kids, his grandkids once or twice a year. The kicker of all this, I found out the last few years of his life, he had been driving past my town a few times a week. At one point he was seeing someone the next town over. We all have different priorities, and I have to thank him for helping me define family as mine.

Road tripping out in western mass today. We're hitting Shelburne Falls and some other places. Hopefully will find some outdoor dining that serves carbonated beverages that have been fermented. Of course all of these road trips really just become a tour of the open and closed restrooms in Western Massachusetts. How many bathroom stops can you make in a 90 minute drive we're at two already... The dog is excited

Is that yours? I thought you had the gray one in your avatar?
One thing I love about traveling with the camper, we've been trying to avoid the highway public restrooms so I keep a 5 gallon jug of water in the truck and let the kids use the bathroom in the camper. Thankfully, it wasn't used on the way home so I didn't have to find a place locally to dump the tank but it's been regularly used on the way out.

I had a few stubborn spots on mine plus the old Rav4 (which of course she never told me about for years). Both times, it was like having an eraser using just a bit of the stuff.

That one's my parents. I don't have a sticker for that beach right now so didn't take mine out. They also have a couple more doors than I do.

It's like $350 for the year for non-residents. We weren't down here enough to justify that cost. They have restricted hours this year too. I can get a sticker that's good Sept 1st through the end of next April for $100 though, so might do that. It's a cool beach just to hang out on, not super busy

@.Q. just pulled out a few minutes ago, he successfully changed his oil and replaced his spark plugs for the first time on his own. Good working with you today Justin.

I got the same things done on my truck as well and snapped this shot just after we wrapped up. There's a proud man who's learning how to do his own work.

No idea if the Infiniti is truly big enough to demand the quantity of woolwax consumed but I used 3 of those lil bottles lmao! Usually one does two tacos lol. Sanded some areas, blown clean, some paint, dry, then coated. If Santa survives the pandemic I'd like a two post lift lol

Replacement e-locker since mine stopped working...

    IMG_20200822_153041.jpg

The old one that came out... (tested removed motor wouldn't turn... New one turned mint.

    IMG_20200822_161803.jpg

Cleaned the old one up to rebuild.... Found this surprise..... Needless to say this one is trash... Guess I will have to paint the new one with some sort of coating to prevent this from happening again...

I have a 2012. I got it looked over before setting up this "appointment" tech told me they may not even do any treatment to my since I NH Oil my frame every fall. But at least it gets me on the list if my frame ever needs replacement. My frame doesn't look bad for an 8yo truck in New Hampshire IMO

@Noelie84 or anyone else - factory 18" tire size for my truck is 275/65/18. I was considering 255/70/18 instead for snow tires since generally narrower is better in the winter and they're a little cheaper. But do you think 255s would be too narrow on an F-150?

Belgian Saison. Should be a little lighter than my last batch (last batch was American Wheat Ale, you can see it in the mug in the first photo, it was good but a little darker than I wanted)
