I'm sure there is other road and trails around that area besides that one or something that doesn't flood :fingerscrossed:

I hope this doesn't get washed out, but all the buzz is that FL is gonna get hit pretty hard next week with dumps of massive rain. We'll see next week. Don't want to drive all the way to TN only to find that the trail is impassable.

    Yes
Crossing my fingers the rain holds out but we will see. As mentioned, doesn’t take much for the water to get high. Worst case we could head to Big Fork or Aetna mtn(never beeen but heard good things). Honestly I wouldn’t even be opposed to going to Windrock if the cove is a complete washout.

As far as camping, I plan on camping on the trail if it’s not a wash

I'd be down for something as I really don't want the rain to completely ruin our trip

Aetna Mountain is a good place to ride been a couple years since I been there.
Wheeling in the Country is another good place.
I'm camping at the camp ground, the trail isn't long so I will catch up with y'all on the trail.

Just looked at the forecast y'all got me paranoid now. Looks like Laura's projected path makes landfall from Mississippi west and then stays west. Also the rain forecast for that area is down to 40% for the weekend from what was posted before. This is all according to Weather channel

Well guys wanted to make the trip but not going to be able too. I had a failure on the bushings it looks like and broke both cv. I’m completely frustrated and taking a week away from the truck so I won’t be able to make the trip. Y’all have fun though. I’ll make the next ride.

    Wtf! That sucks man!

How'd that even happen? The washer on the bolt side should've kept it mostly in place.
