You might wanna go edit some of your earlier posts with what the issue is and call out gmail specifically and how you found the messages. A lot of people have had issues with gmail hiding things and its caused a lot of headaches for everyone (both ovtune and end users)

Definitely worth calling out for the new people who may encounter the same thing

Well that's good to see that it wasn't a matter of the vendor being unresponsive to the issue, but rather an email issue. I would really like to tune or get my truck tuned just based on how much better it drives with ecp button pushed vs without, and from what I have read in the other large threads, the tune is much better than that. I don't think I will be messing with a lot of different options, but rather just the latest general tune. The trucks are just fine the way they are for a truck, but I would rather have it more optimized for its true potential. I mentioned previously our Sienna minivan has the same powerplant, and it feels peppier and has more of a linear throttle response. I was amazed with its performance compared to my 4.0L 4Runner, its like a rocket when passing on the highway. Glad it looks to be working out for you.

Damn what a wild ride. Stupid gmail. Good to know since that's what I use (but I use Outlook on PC).

Yes. And it is wonderful. I got to make a 60 mile round-trip to Walmart and it is better than it was. It feel like a performance engine in a light truck again. That is exactly what I missed, and wanted back so bad.

Again I feel like a jerk, I did not behave well, and I want to apologize again.

Gmail has gone from a pretty great email service to absolute crap in the last few months.
We get messages on a daily basis now that people are not receiving things from us, threatening us, etc. Anyone who uses gmail now thinks we are stealing their money.

Someone even showed us that their gmails says our email is unsafe, asks for your personal information, and is a phishing email?????

I want to apologize again. I wish I had thought to logout of Gmail. It just never occurred to me.

Yesterday did the 2.0 04B90 MT Octane Prem Super FOB tune on my 2020 TRDOH. Even a bigger improvement over the Prem Base Tune I had done before. Very happy with this tune and it seems to be improving, have only put 20 miles on it so far.

Yeah, I can confirm this. I just set up vFtune on my computer and had to pull up the spam folder to find your emails. I think it went into the "Promotions" folder once, too. But yeah, when I was downloading the software and instructions file, it denied the download and made me jump through hoops to actually do it with warnings about it being unsafe throughout. Not gonna lie, I was a bit sketched out, but I've read through almost all there is on vFtune and OVTune on here and figured people would be flipping their lids if it was anything but the real thing. Hopefully y'all can get it sorted out with Google somehow.

I'm excited to try out the 2.0 tune, just gotta wait till the cable gets delivered next week. :ballchain:

Mine got stuck in spam with GMail, took me 3 days to realize it. Nothing useful besides this has gone to SPAM in a year, but EVERY Ovtune one did. Even replies

Even though I don't have OVTune yet, this conversation reminded me to check my gmail spam folder. Two Thirds of the emails it filtered out weren't spam. They weren't necessarily earth shattering either, but I should have been the one to decide that instead of Google.

Cool I’m in the same boat with the same truck. Let me know if you make the jump and it works out well. Wish it was a simple plug and play type deal, but probably not as complicated as it seems in some of threads.

It is not complicated once things are set up and you flash a couple times.

Just go slow, ask questions, and read the instructions.
