    I feel at $700 you are approaching the territory where you should just buy a new one. Maybe just me, but seems easier and then you can sell off your old one and maybe recoup a little cost there as well.

    Non scooped hoods aren't selling well at all near me. $200-$300 from various places locally are the going rate. New hood, at best, is $1200 deliverable just before black friday. $1300ish if I want before that and have to wait for paint.

    Swapping and $700 would put me pretty close to the front of the line for people looking to swap hoods near me. Assuming that the hood is in perfect condition like mine, it makes more sense for me to offer $700. Unless you know of a place that sells scooped oem hoods for less and want to tell me where to sell the non-scooped hood for more, my proposal makes more sense. I get what you are saying, but the $700 is my cap, any more than that, it's more beneficial to buy the damn thing and sell my current one.

    Truth.
    I’ve posted my non-scooped 2020 Cement non-scooped hood in perfect condition for $300 and there has been ZERO interest since I’ve posted it (May?).

    I don’t have much patience for waiting on car parts, so I got an OEM hood and scoop accessories locally and got it painted and all in for about $1400. Now the non-scooped hood sits on the side of the house.
