Decided it was time for an upgrade from that Poulan Lowe's had on clearance a couple of years or so ago.

A large chunk of the pine trees, I think 32 in total, and two large ash trees. I am keeping a bunch of the whole logs for firewood, about 20' long each. The Poulan would have probably done the work, but I wanted something new and shiny.

There's still 13 pine trees, a smaller ash, and some old cedar trees that have to come out. I can take the cedar trees out myself, but not the 100'+ pines.

It's an 18", not that much bigger. What are you trying to cut down or thin out?

Ive used mine several times a month for the last 6 years and it’s never skipped a beat. If you don’t wear ear plugs it will make your ears bleed. 60 something year old homelite. Check out the copper fuel lines. I was about to buy a new husky last weekend and then decided against it. D6F22049-CCD0-4478-8DCA-4252539D55BB.jpg

My favorite is an old homelite xl-12. Thing is loud as hell and still uses the old manual oiler.

Everything on the right side of the truck, for a parking area. Everything in the center of the round about minus the 2 trees that have the beam for a swing for a front yard. And a lot of the brush/ smaller trees on the property to lighten things up. Right now the property is always damp and never dries out from the sun with all the foliage. I want to tackle all of the small trees by myself and then see which of the big ones need to be removed.

I see some birch in there, I think. Could make some nice planks out of that. But TBH, not sure I see anything so big you need more than a 16" saw to take out.

Yeah, my 16” saw will be fine for everything I am comfortable with taking down.

Depending on when you want to do it, I could probably be convinced to help, but I gotta have some surgery and do some healing first.

Yea mine still has the old copper oiler line, but has rubberish lines in the fuel tank and running to the carb. I need to replace the carb gasket since I didn't do it when I first tore it down to refurb her. Yea she'll deafen you in no time flat haha. Still chews up the logs though!

My new fav saw is a Stihl MS170 with a 12” bar. I can hold it one handed. It’s friggin awesome.
