    High enough so you have the correct sight picture but without mashing your cheek.
    And you don't want the front of the comb angled towards your cheek.
    A meaty, well rounded comb works for me.
    Almost all trapguns are like that, and looks be damned... not so much with sporters.
    Some guys use a patch of moleskin if for some reason their cheekbones don't work well on their gun's comb.
