@qnyla ran mobile 1 with 10k average intervals and his truck currently sitting at 430k miles with the original engine. I think you’re fine either way but personally Using Mobile 1 gives me the warm fuzzies.

I wouldn't use anything but the AMSOIL branded windshield washer fluid anything less will cause damage to the windshields rubber gasket and cause premature failure and leakage, also there are stories of Walmart washer fluid actually cracking the window.

I actually don't run them much anymore. With my short OCI's it doesn't make sense to spend $10 a filter for a 4-5k change. Been using Hastings recently as I can get them around $4 a pop from RA when I get them in bulk. Well constructed and made in Nebraska. I do alot of oil changes for my fleet of vehicles...

A popular suggestion from the experts on BITOG is to change the filter every other OC if doing short intervals.

Oil? Meh.....I don't get too excited about. I look for sales and rebates....typically Valvoline (local company...showing support) or M1. But certainly not limited to those.

But filters? I'm picky about those. I run almost exclusively M1 or Ultras. In a pinch I would run a PureOne if I had too.

Yes and that is where I will be (far off into the distance) before you can tow that trailer out of your driveway with that 2.4L stock Taco. LOL!

Yea I'm a member over there as well. I can't bring myself to do more than one oil change on a filter. That and I just like cutting them open...

Autozone usually has a big sale around November I stock up on. Most 5qts go for $10. I got Rotella Gas Truck, Valvoline Modern Engine, Pennzoil Platinum Euro 0w30 and 0w40 last year all for cheap. Gonna try the 0w30 in the truck this winter. Supposed to be cold and icy here in my parts. I'll use Supertech or the like in Gmas Jeep as it sees maybe 2-3k miles a year, but I still want to change it yearly. Gonna use the Pennz Euro 0w40 in the Benz. It's not particularly picky, it just leaks from the cam adjust and crank seal pretty good, lol.

I have never run a filter for more than one oil change. It is against my religion.

I bought my daughter's Yaris with nearly 130k miles on it. Judging by the CarFax it spent it's whole life on GTMO 5w-30 and probably some 0w-20 a little later, given that's been the go-to juice at Toyota dealerships for awhile.

The very day I brought it home....in went Mobile1 5w-30 HM synthetic. Never looked back.
