I don’t care to have a certified passive house but “damn near passive” would be good enough for me. Usually squeezing out that last bit of efficiency to get the certifition is what drives up the cost, from what I was told.

 

A lot of those certifications like LEAD are pay to play you can build one and just not have the I got the tag tax they charge.

 

This boot tore after a year. Is this a typical spot for tearing? Fins weren’t touching at ride height.

That’s what I figured. I ordered a replacement +2 axle. I heard there’s a good CV shop near Wilkinson, I’m gonna have them change the boot and then I’ll have a spare.

What condition? I think I have two OEM’s I bought as spares/cores but don’t need then anymore. I believe the boots are in good shape but they have some use.

They just need to have some good outers. I can order new boots that's not a big deal. How much you looking to get?
