All's good man! Yeah I needed a little break and was backing away even before what happened for reasons. If you still want some helpfulness with armor I can help you out from other companies and what I've seen for some advise as I've seen just about everything on the market first hand and gotten to see where all the downfalls are. Don't worry about what happened shit's over for me anyways there so it's all good. You won't see me recommend them anymore.

You see the little tabs on the inside cup, take a med pry bar place on that tab and hit the end of the pry bar with a hammer rotate and do it again. That's how I do them and they come out within a few whacks.

We will see. I could get 2 of those for the price of 1 new OEM. My OEM axles are toast. I didn’t want auto parts store axles either

Yea I understand that I can only imagine how much time it took to try and stay on top of everything. Yea man I can understand that some things happen that make you really not be able to stand behind a certain brand. Really the only last piece I need is a tcase skid, I had decided I couldn’t afford a sos rear bumper and really liked the look of brute force fab.

Posted this over in the 1st.gen section.

Getting close to finishing up my drawers/dog platform. I've been working on it far to long and it's been sitting taking up room, so I finally got around to mounting it in the truck. Still need to add supports for the extensions and glue the rubber down. Also cut the back part and add a lock.

Nah swaybars out for me I thought those energy bushings fixed it for a min, drove it to bham today and noticed a kinda moan only in reverse and steering left I said oooo that’s a new one lol!
Yea I got a cvj oem reman when I changed mine, really good quality and I’ve got another core to send when I need one.
Dude I saw I’ve been following jd Fab since he started that thread, those things are serious way more than I’ll probably ever need... but I kinda wanna be where I need them! What else you got planned for the front?

Their LCA mounts, their full spindle set up, their UCAs for now. Waiting on either MC or possibly JD to make a LT kit that is more geared towards how I wheel, Solo rack, hydro assist, Solo CO relocation to run a 10" CO and bypasses, Custom front diff mounts to move them from under the crossmember to the sides, I got that dual t-case to put in, the 37s, and tub the firewall and inner fenders, tummy tuck.

I have most all the parts and pieces for most all the fab stuff it's just a matter of where and when I can do it.

Damn I may go with those CVJs to get my outer joints and just eat the core charge. $476 bucks shipped to me is a lot better than almost $700. And I could get 1/2 the core back so $95 bucks hmmmmmmmm

Ughh that crossed my mind I’ve got the energy bushing kit for that too, but that seems like a super undertaking that’s why I’ve never done it.
I was hoping you went the whole jd fab way that seems like an awesome super solid setup. Man I can’t believe your stepping up to 37 I’m pumped for you for all that, especially repping the trail limo. Any plans to bob it?

Nah not for this truck. I'm looking at salvage auctions for an AC to do all the really crazy stuff too. But damn people willing to spend way more than I am on them, it's crazy. The plan is to build something similar to 6oh-taco on IG has and those guys out there in the PNW have been doing.

Yeah I'd be getting their cheapest option since all I'll be doing is taking them apart for the outer joint to go on my new axles.

Yea I killed both dust seals so time I would reboot and get seals I might as well send it in and get another cvj I was impressed with their quality.
Yea you can get some high mileage rigs used still in good shape for what some auction wrecked tacomas go for. I was hoping the long bed was getting the super build
