I may be partially wrong. But - their Heritage Line is hand built in Hope Arkansas (not to far from where I live).

Rockford’s were big in the 90’s, they kicked ass back then. Don’t see them quite as much anymore.

Honest question here. I've never owned a Subaru. Or really even updated a sound system for that matter. But I see a lot of people recommend those tweeters from Subaru. Are they JUST that good?

I don’t understand this myself. Maybe they are a perfect fit or something.

i recently did the Subaru tweeters just like all the cool kids on here. Sound is better, but I can’t say that I was blown away. Doing my door speakers with kickers in the next week or so (along with sound deadening).
I think the main advantages with the Subaru tweeters is that they are quality and they work literally straight out of the box...same plug and they everything.

Not sure my opinion is apples to apples. I pieced and installed in this order - key amp, front speakers, tweeters, rear speakers.

So I don't know the difference between the stock tweeters and kicker tweeters powered by the head unit.

But its def an upgrade over stock, no doubt about that. The more important thing to me was 100% plug and play. I will say its a nice upgrade, just wouldn't say night and day difference like some people claim. If you get a pair for a good price. It'll probably be worth it..
