I was in the process of installing the wiring harness from the camera source and broke some small wire unrelated to the AC controls (REV crimp pin connector broke off...). I put everything back together since I didn't have a replacement crimp pin connector. I put everything back together and my AC controls don't work. The fan works and I did reconnect both climate control connectors. The temperature dial and the fan location dial (whatever it's called) don't do anything. The AC button and the recycle air button do not illuminate when pressed. I checked the fuses and nothing out of the ordinary. All I did was disconnect and reconnect these climate control connectors and now one of them doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions of what to do to fix this?

This is for a 2013 Tacoma with a factory stereo unit.

You may want to throw up a picture of what you broke so we can better assess the situation because suggesting what to do without some sort of visual is not very helpful.

I'll bet the 10A IG1 fuse is blown. It feeds the reverse lights and the climate control.

Here are some visual references.T small black connector seems to be the culprit because the other one is for the fan

You're right that it's blown! Not sure why I didn't notice that one in the owner's manual.

Edit: cold air never tasted so sweet
