5100s and OME 885 coils front, 5100s and AAL for the TSB leaf pack (overload left in) rear. Jeraco camper shell.
@ARCHIVE You’re out of Orchard Park? I lived in Kenmore in college.

Do your AAL and bolt flip kits usually stay in stock? I’m looking at solutions to fix my axle wrap and eventually want to upgrade from the stock bump stop at some point.

Hey, yes out in Orchard Park. I have a lead time on Ubolt flip of 31 days, and the AAL is complicated right now, because I found out there are different versions of the 3/1 springs, some have 35" between clips, others only have 32", and my AALs are 33".

Next batch will be 31" to work with all

Wow, I almost forgot to update my own build again. Made some steel bedside caps today. The plastic ones had a visible seam from where I bobbed my bed and I wanted to get rid of that. Want the bob to be as seamless as possible.

Anyways, came out pretty good. Once they were all done I used some finishing pads on them. Really made a difference in the finished quality, I’m a big fan. Made it much smoother and knocked off some millscale, and didn’t leave any visible lines.

Thanks, I’m super happy with how they came out. Going to paint them tomorrow and then wait for my foam tape to come in. That way they’re not metal on metal contact with the bedsides.

I bought a roll of this stuff, we’ll see how it holds up. I’m not necessarily trying to seal anything. Just keep metal to metal contact to a minimum.

I decided to paint these with a bedliner. It’s so easy to work with and they’ll hopefully be a bit more rugged. I used the duplicolor this time, but I prefer the rustoleum. Just sprays on a bit more uniform.

I like the Rust-Oleum too. The fan nozzle is nice.

I’ve used those before in a dewalt die grinder, works like a charm. This was the “quick and dirty and not visible since it’s covered by a washer” method.

haha I gotcha. Yeah I know that feeling. If ain’t nobody gonna be seeing it don’t have to be perfect. Otherwise one job ends up taking half the tools in my garage.
