Gotcha. Was just wondering if you could use KBM for takeoff then controller for flight control.

I feel like the controls are too god damn complicated for keyboard only. Maybe im stupid but using the controller is way easier imo

What has been your max RAM usage in Flight Sim so far? 21GB in flight sim alone and 27.5 for the entire system.

Any recommendations on a UPS (preferably off of Amazon) around $200 or a little less? Got some hurricanes rolling in and I could use a UPS.

Cyberpower, mine came in clutch a couple weeks ago when we had a bad storm that knocked out power multiple times when I was on.

Is the 4 pin Eatx12v needed with the 8 pin and 24 pin populated? I don't have a cable for it.

No. To be honest most motherboards will even run with just a 4 pin connected to the 8 pin. The max wattage for a 4 pin connection is actually around 100 watts. That being said the more connections you have to power the CPU the more stable the voltage will be as load changes and the better your boost frequency will be (in theory).

So probably keep that in mind for the next build which might be more power hungry? I'll pick up that cable anyways to have.

    I’ll check them out, thanks!
I think I’ll end up getting 2, 1 for the PC and router, and another for my monitors.

All of you FS2020 guys, I keep getting these annoying pop up notifications, in this case I’m cruising at 27,500 with AP engaged, is there a way to tell it that I’m not in the “climb” portion of my flight anymore? Or do I just need to completely disable the notifications?

RAM speed, I’m assuming you bought RAM faster than 2133.

my aging PC is starting to get issues and what not. so 8 years has been a great run. So my question is, Ryzens the best bang for the buck these days yea? i'll be building towards the end of the year and likely going ITX since NVME drives exist now, i dont need a million harddrives taking up tower space.

i will be reusing my gtx1080 for now. but thats only because it doesnt seem to be having issues, its my 3770k thats giving me troubles as of late

If your bios has it (it should since its asus) you might want to go into the fan tuning, it'll find the lowest rpm your fans can go so it can be a bit quieter when its not being used as hard.

Is that normally a seating issue?
