Jeeze, whaddaya pack if you think you're gonna need to bug out. I have Passports, vital paperwork, cloths. Dog food. Cash. Fly reels, and rods. Golf clubs. Sleeping bags. Some guns and ammo. Not enough of either. Old pictures. Only so much room in my truck, and Kimberlies Audi.

Local news has people freaked. We are expecting more thunderstorms soon. So, decided to get ready. Just in case. When you get to be my age you have too much stuff.

 

Me and kids have been talking about what we need to grab and run if shiet hits the fan. Looks like you have everything covered for most part. One thing I am definitely grabbing is my PC because it has lot of old pictures of kids when they were little on it.
Just in case if shiet gets real, call me up. I am not too far away from you. I can bring my truck and another car or two if you need to load up more stuff. Hope it won't get to that point.

Edit: I am loading up my pick up with all the camping supplies if it gets to that point because it has lots of stuff that you need on daily bases.

 

Maybe some extra water and a utility knife and some medical goods if you have any (peroxide/rubbing alcohol, bandages, etc). And a light

Wind kicking up pretty briskly here in Oakland. Sprinkles. Fortunately, this is just the sunset a couple minutes ago.

 

After going through a close call with the Pleasant Fire 3 years ago I feel for you guys. I hope the winds stay light and Cal Fire keeps hitting it hard. Good luck.

doing the same now. Luckily just got back from camping so just resupplied the bins and can have the truck loaded within 10 min. I have a go bag with a few days of clothes, meds, toiletries, passport, check book / cash and I’ll grab laptop and hard drives too. Add some pew pews and I’ll make the best of the situation. Luckily the fires are further south in Fremont but if that fire jumps 680 and lights up the Hayward fault / hills along mission blvd, definitely need to get out of here fast.
