    If what the the seller is offering is for the 05-11, that's not even the correct mounting brackets for those year 2nd gens. There is a shit ton of hardware necessary to get it all together and for the price of $750 there's no way in hell I'd gamble on that when MSRP is just north of $1000. You could still buy my ARB bumper for the same price and not have to worry about sourcing everything.

    Don't even waste your time or money if that fool wants 750 and it isn't complete. Never installed? No shit! Can't mount it without the install kit. I'd throw a $400 offer at him and assume it's gonna piss him off, but that's all I'd consider.

    Good call. Don't skimp on things that separate your body from the ground (footwear, tents, mattresses, tires) or protects your truck and passengers (brakes, bumpers, etc.).

    I thought it was based on cab shape? Like the canopy doesn’t fill the gap between cab and canopy the same. I don’t know though for sure.

    I'm sure it's a combination of things, the bed rails sit higher on the cab than the second gen bed rails, so the profile is ~ 2" difference from what I've read.
