Thanks for describing that situation. When you offered delivering it from opposite ends of the country it threw me off. Makes sense now, good luck in selling it. Some one is going to get a sweet ride.

2nd day on a MTB. Remember I didn’t do any cardio leading up to this. I do however lightly weight lift when I’m bored lol.

hopefully today’s go pro footage isn’t looking at the ground.

My ol cheek meat is tender

Does anyone here use a hitch hauler like a 1UP and have a high clearance rear bumper with a swing out? Just wondering it its possible, or if ill need a custom fabbed extension piece for the rack to clear the spare tire.

NBD was yesterday. Waited two weeks to get it as I had to wait for the Full Stache to sell. First real ride was today. Did a short one at Coyote Ridge and Rim Rock up here in Fort Collins. It was smokey and hot, but worth it. Trek Slash 9.8.

Thanks! I love it! It’s raw carbon, looks killer in person! I’m not too flashy, except for my helmet, haha. It rides even better than it looks. It was a great decision to make the switch.

Nice! Love the raw carbon look. Mine has bits here and there in the color scheme that they left that way. Glad you’re happy. :)

Edit: Carbon rims as well. :)

Nice! I haven't seen blue skies in over a week since a large wildfire started here in Northern Colorado. As you can see by RockiesTaco photos above. There’s actually mountains in the background of those photos. :(

Are your shots screen grabs off a chest mounted GoPro?

There’s actually two fires up here now. Not sure if you heard about the one that started in Rist Canyon yesterday. No bueno!

edit: my truck was covered in ash when I got back to the parking lot. Didn’t notice it on the ride. I’m sure my lungs did.

Someone mentioned another fire, I didn’t pay much attention. Maybe that’s why today was smokier than most recent days. This sucks, the Cameron Pass fire I read today where they aren’t even fighting it directly. They are concentrating making fire lines 12 miles away and letting it burn to them before an all out assault with retardant drops and such.

    Edit: Here’s that article. https://www.coloradoan.com/story/ne...firefighters-fighting-containment/3406885001/

I heard the same. Not much they can do at this point. It’s like a matchbook of dead beetle kill trees up there. They’ve evacuated all the way to the east side of Pennock Pass on Buckhorn Road pretty much to Ballard, if you’re familiar. The Rist Canyon one really irritates me, considering the fire ban in place.

Yep, wasn’t Rist Canyon part of the High Park fire in 2012? One of the biggest ever in this region. Hope they find how and if human started find them and prosecute.
