How do you folks like the back up cam quality of the alpine halo9 head unit? Is it the same, better or worst than the quality of the factory head unit?

Is there cheaper alternatives out there instead of dropping $900+ on the halo?

How’s your folks overall experience in regards to the head unit? Is it worth the money you spent for it?

any input would be much appreciated.

    this and that...
i always loved alpine, but more back then when their stuff was a little less mainstream, and was more on the enthusiast level of marketing. think they started going full on mainstream back when fast and the furious dropped lol. now im thinking of upgrading my sounds again and this headunit looks pretty cool, but i think i like something more discreet. their 8"unit seems to fit the bill; nice and clean looking. but then again, when i think about going alpine, im always harkened back to going with one of their regular looking cd headunits coupled with their sound processor for a double reciever look. had that in my xrunner. ah the good ole days.

been looking at their cheaper And less “flashy” options as well, Such as their “normal” double dins. Figured if I’m already breaking $600+ on the bank, I might as well go all the way haha. I know exactly what you’re talking about when you mention a double receiver look. Had a Era- g320 setup like that in my first gen tacoma. I can still picture that type r sub going ham when diesel turns his music up on the line

The back up camera quality is worse since its a larger screen.
