Used to know someone named JW or WJ (can't remember which way the 2 letters were). The letters didn't stand for anything. That was his name. And his brother's name was Jhugh.

I work with a guy named Tri Tran. I looked in the online directory @ work for the name Tran, 30 of them came back. A few years ago, another co-worker asked "How was your Christmas Tri." LOL My co-worker didn't catch what he said. I told him on the way out.

Heard this one story of a mom who had a kid, and when it came time to name it, she named it Female (pronounced: feh-mah-lee). Aparrently, on some form she had to fill out after the childs birth, she saw the "Gender" box (Male / Female), and thought that was a choice of names.

A cousin of mine works with a Mai (pro. "my) Ho. Whenever I'm talkin' to my cousin, she's always like "Oh, I gotta go, I'm goin' to see my ho."

And lastly, my grandfather knew a guy who's lastname was Hurlbutt. No joke. They called him throwass.

    :)

Isn't that strange. You didn't happen to grow up in Jonesboro,GA did you? That is where I grew up & knew JW or was it WJ, it has been so long ago. I can't remember which way it was.

That's funny. I knew a Vietnamese guy who's name was Hung. My female supervisor said she walked up to him and said, "How are you Hung?" and then realized what she said and almost busted up laughing.

    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
Years ago I was working 2nd shift phone support for a computer software company. There was only two of us on 2nd shift, sometimes we would both be super busy and new requests for support would go into a waiting queue.

We got an e-mail in from a guy named "Hugh Wang". I figured it was a joke but I looked him up in our database, he was for real.

There was no way we were gonna get to the queue that night, so I passed it onto my supervisors queue to be dealt with by 1st shift. I put a note on it saying "Don't even think about it Doug".

Sure as hell it was back in my queue when I came in, with a smiley face attached to it. I REALLY looked forward to calling and asking for this guy.

I bit my tongue and called. Asked for Mister Wang. Someone said "hold on" then yelled "Huey, phone!".

Apparently he decided "Huey" sounded better than "Hugh".

I said "oh thank God" to myself....
