    Read through almost all the pages. Love the skinny tire look. Just got a trd sport and I was wondering if anyone knew if 16s can fit over the calipers. I had to run spacers on my second gen to clear 16s and don't wanna go through all that trimming again. Thanks!

    sports have the same brakes as all other trims and they come with 16s so yes you can run 16s and clear

    Well I was going to run 255’s on stock suspension but I decided to order the eibach pro kit so I’ll be lifted 2”. Will this create any issues running stock off-road wheels?

    @Lost In The Woods

    For you guys with KM3’s, were you able to fit a KM3 spare under the bed?

    I was able to fit the cooper in the stock location without modding the hangar.

    So the stock TRD Offroad wheels are 5" backspacing... These tires will rub on 4.5" or 3.5" backspaced wheels, all things the same?

    I know some of you OG people have now changed things up. Who is running 255’s with a slight lift and different wheels? What’s your specs and how the rub? Is there a separate thread for this?

    My plan is to run 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 I have a 2” eibach kit coming and I’m debating the whole wheel thing. I don’t want to rub much. I don’t want crazy poke wheels either way just like the flush look.

    I'm running mine on 17x8.5 SCS BR6s that have -10mm offset. They sit just about even with the fenders, maybe slightly more.

    Thats good news im thinking either trd pro wheels just depends on if i go 16 or 17's or 17x8 with 0 offset aftermarket wheels. I ran 17x8 -10's on my second gen with 255's and it rubbed like crazy when turning and offroad with 2.5" of lift but didnt run at all with my fj wheels.

    I have the Eibach Kit installed and already got the TRD Pro 17” wheels from the 4Runner with +4 offset. I’m waiting for Camburg UCA’s and then I’ll buy the tires.. planning on LT255/80R17. Leaning toward Toyo A/T III due to the low weight but wonder if I’ll want something with more traction. I really like my Goodyear Duratracs (except how loud they’ve got after 40k miles). I’m crossing my fingers that this combo results in no rub.

    I just pulled the trigger in some 255/85/16’s. I going to keep the stock wheels for now. I hate to buy new one just to beat the crap out of if I don’t have to. My only worry is rubbing on the uca since I’m lifting and keeping the stock uca since I’m only going 2”

    Got an appointment next Tuesday to get an alignment and the tires mounted and balanced. That mean I need to get the suspension put on this weekend. 400E131A-9FB0-410B-9A88-ADF4F244FB34.jpg

    You guys convinced me! They look so good! Just got then put on this morning and maybe I'm just not hyper aware of how it ride before but I haven't noticed much of a difference.
