Looks like it would work, also looks like crap. Check the thickness, this one is 1/16".

Looks like crap and makes my knees hurt thinking about crawling into the bed to grab something. I've got a couple of bags of paver sand in the back of my truck right now, I can imagine dragging them out over that with those bolt heads would probably elicit some words that the neighbor's kids don't need to hear.

Not sure why youd want to put a molle panel there. Sure you could attach stuff when the tailgate is closed, but when its open, that stuff is just in the way. And like someone else said.. thickness

Where's the strength in that? It's a flat sheet? If it was bent to fit over the top it would be a hell of a lot stronger

Looks like the bottom portion would get filled with dirt/debris and the only way to clean would be to remove the reinforcement panel. I'll pass.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Looks horrible. I'd put it under the existing cover. Not over it.

I don’t understand the need for it. Tacos have a great liner already. What would be the point of that: a spider nest, gravel catcher, butt scratcher...I just couldn’t pick a more useless need for it.

Sounds pretty negative in here. The city boys with mall crawlers can’t even imagine what this might be for. If I designed one it would be about twice as thick and use countersunk fasteners. Also use a beveled edge so as not to catch when unloading bags of sand. Finally bring it up over the top of tailgate because that right angle would add more strength.

I used to haul round bales of hay and dry they weigh hundreds of pounds but wet it’s even worse. Rolled one off the back and that wimpy tailgate does flex in the middle, I know this from experience LOL so don’t find out the hard way like I did.

    More import garbage from Hooke

lmao my favorite part about this piece of junk is the screws for the sides don’t even appear to have spacers or anything, so you’ll have probably a centimeter of just exposed screw threads.
