This is what I traded in. Somehow the wrangler on 35s was better on gas than the Tacoma is on 33s

I once had a 2011. Traded it in for an Fj. Bad move. Missed it so bought a 2017 3 years ago and loving it. Will never get rid of this .

I traded my 17 OR for a 2020 Jeep Wrangler... It's nice but after a few months of owning the jeep I miss the truck. So I decides to trade my 2015 Lexus RZ350 for the TRD PRO. Driving a truck again is like spending "one night" with your ex GF everyday. Lmao

It’s all about balancing what you want and what you need. I’ve only owned trucks since I first saved up to buy a 94 Ranger when I turned 16 (I include my 4Runner in the truck category.)

After I graduated high school, I wanted something bigger, so I bought a 99 F150 with a V8 and added Flowmaster exhaust. Loved it, but when I got hired by the fire department, I needed something 4wd to make sure I could get to work in bad weather. Bought an 03 Dakota that was a giant POS, traded that in a month later for an 02 Tacoma. I absolutely loved that truck, but then the wife and I started having kids and car seats wouldn’t fit in an access cab Tacoma, so here comes the 06 4Runner. Had that until about 3 weeks ago. It had 200k mikes on the 4.7 V8 that needed some repairs done that were gonna cost more than what it would’ve been worth in a year or 2 when I had originally planned on getting another truck. Kids are a little older and the wife got a Highlander, so here I am now in my 17 black DCSB Sport. I miss the power of the 4.7, but I’m glad to have a pickup again. Someone tell Toyota to put the 4.7 in the Tacomas!

In the same boat right now.. 18 OR as my daily driver and family trip taker. Just too damn cramped with the kids and everything. A softtopper might help get some stuff out of the cab but cant be the leg room of a full size. Looking at a Ram unless i can hold out for the new Tundra.

Got rid of my e46 M3 that I’ve had for 13 years. No ragrets, mostly due to have 3 little ones, so the days of speed racer lifestyle are in rear view.
Now I have a DCLB taco and a 09 Honda Fit that I putt around in on daily. Love that go-cart and the MPG are added perk too.
Wife has 18 sienna so plenty of room there when we go somewhere as a family.

    I wanted an MT.
Traded my 14 Sport for a loaded 2016 Lariat f150. Love the size of the ford, it’s been reliable, loads of power, off road capable for what I need, but at the end of the day I miss my Tacoma. Went last week and test drove a new Tacoma off-road and a limited tundra... 3k price difference...44 and 47 respectively. Loved the Tacoma obviously the tundra didn’t impress me, gonna keep my eyes open for a used Tacoma with low miles.

Hi! Sorry to hi-jack this thread.

I'm considering trading in my 2020 Challenger Scat Pack in for a 2020 tacoma TRD Off Road or TRD Pro. Both have manual trans. I just dont drive the Challenger as much as i'd want and I could really use the truck.

Thoughts? Should I just get the Off-Road and save the money?

    Thank you!

Everyone here will tell you to get the Off Road without even asking what your plans are.

OR and Pro your only choices? You might check out an SR or SR5.
