    there are hogs everywhere. Guys up here in Oklahoma always say crap like “no hogs in this county” or “ no hogs East of this river”. Tell ya what, every time I’m out scouting different public land here I see hogs.

    Different topic. I’m heading to my lease in Texas for opening weekend of Dove. Super exited.

    I’m from just south of Columbus also. Grove City. I don’t hunt there though.

    I have a smaller property in Morgan County and lease some property in Meigs county with some friends. Both southeast Ohio.

    I got this pic over the weekend. The 6 is gonna get another pass likely.

    yep. In Ohio you get one buck a year. It sounds dumb but our deer are much larger then some of the border states with other management programs. Michigan, Pennsylvania , West Virginia for example.

    It’s crazy to see all the out of staters buying 100s of acres to shoot one deer a year or try to.

    I killed a buck really early in the season one year which kinda sucks when you spend all year getting ready. Then are done after a week. I shoot doe to eat but it’s not the same.

    We can kill two bucks, last year I went 3 times (2 bow sits and one muzzle loader sit) and killed 2 good 8's. One with the bow and one with the muzzle loader, I didn't even get my rifle out. Last year was awesome for me :D truly blessed! I did take our son in rifle season and he shot his first deer, he was 7. I hope he can get a good one this year at the age of 8.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    Damn...pretty sure our default license gives us 2 does and 3 bucks. Bought another 4 does (which also gives 2 bonus doe tags) and 2 more restricted bucks (4 pts on one side or minimum 12" inside spread).
