I’ve used both. Snake for the first time this weekend to smoke that Boston butt. Best I’ve gotten out of the minion method was 5 hours. I laid out a snake a little over halfway around the 26” kettle and got 9 hours of steady temps. If it were longer it could’ve been even easier, obligatory “that’s what she said.”

Where is the best place to buy a gun safe in the area? Looking to store some collectible Pokémon cards.

That’s nothing, get the 37” Ranch Kettle for when you want to cook four whole chickens and sides at once...

Edit: I should’ve read ahead. I can’t imagine ever needing that much grilling area.

Would anybody be interested in a NC 105 trip once the fall colors start presenting themselves?

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

There’s a good many roads on the other side the gorge I want to hit. Fall would be awesome.
105 is probably slammed with leaf peepers in Subaru’s.

My kids had gerbils for years. They were entertaining till they get old. Then they bite the crap out of you.
