My last 2 Tacomas, I bought brand new off the dealership lot. The 3 before those, were all bought second hand.

I sure wish the 3rd gens still had the spin on oil filter in the engine bay. It takes like 15 min to change my oil on my 2nd gen. About twice as long on my 3rd gen.

yea my filiter is under the truck as well. but the transmission makes up for it. I have a trans dip stick and drain plug! made it super easy for my conversion to fill up the transmission with fluid and check it. I heard its a royal pain for the v6 trucks.

Got my handle keeper and locking knob in today. I really like this locking knob, pretty neat!

I turned my cotter pin from the inside out, so the slider adapter can't walk away either.

I think there is a thread about switching to a spin on.

I got mine from Quadratec.com for around $27 bucks. Quadratec is an awesome site with tons of 4x4 goodies!

You gonna mount yours to your truck box too? I’ve seen others do it this way and I like it better than on one rail or the other.
