    What's in the boxes?
Why's your truck fat as fuck?

There's a Cat Scale at the Flying J. You'll drive right by it on the way to the park.

    Oh yeah! Almost forgot!

Peep my "directions" in the first post! Every year, someone shows up saying they took a wrong turn/exit off I64, or something, because they were following the idiot robot voices.

Most truck stops will have scales. Typically $10-12. Pull up on the scale, front tires on the first pad and rear tires on the second, hop out and hit the button. They'll ask for a unit number (just make a number up), and then go in, refer to your unit number, to get your scale ticket and pay.

My truck is a fat hunk.
2 deep cycle AGM's, winch, steel front bumper, bed rack + tent, tools and recovery gear
The boxes are the RCI full skid package + gas tank. I'm hoisting them on this evening

I might have skipped a meeting earlier and got started

For most of what we do, it's totally reasonable. It's not often we come through a trail with a tree down at just the right height for me to kick myself. Not yet anyway!
    Out with the chainsaw!
