You don’t want anything to do with the Clap. PERIOD.
Don’t believe me? Just asks your doctor.

Don’t go sticking things where they should not be stuck.
Ain’t that right @Jimmyh? Last I herd the Clap was rampant in Vietnam. Lol

The man bought a Tacoma for $100 and you guys are giving him grief?
He’s already a winner so what if he wants a rod knock/piston slap sound. I had no idea what an engine clap was till I heard it in that video lol.

Just drain half the oil and you'll get some piston clap.

I kind of like the natural sewing machine ticking sound of my Taco.

I bought my current Tacoma in Virginia and drove it cross country back to California. No cats and URD CAI, URD Y-pipe, Doug Thorley long tube headers, Aero Turbine 2525 and the exhaust dumped at the axle.

It was so loud I actually drove slower than normal to try and limit the howling. People stared. Stopped in Vegas because I had work there and one time coming back to the hotel room my son said he heard me drive up to the hotel and verified it was me by looking out the window. We were on the 17th floor.

Cost me $1600 to 'California' it. I knew about the exhaust mods before I bought it but wasn't prepared for how mind numbingly loud it would be.
