No, I haven’t done that since the 80s . Got a old friend that I should of hired to begin with . Gave the original excavator the boot ,they were terrible.

We are still relatively young, but I cant count how many times I've found myself grateful we picked up a good crew from the start and we are sticking with it.

From getting a load of stone to building a house, I have people I know, trust and feel comfortable leaving my wife to deal with them. I know they are respectful and honest. It has been such a relief and with all the nightmares I hear, I thank God for it.

Problem is half of them should retire any year now, so we need to find someone who can fill some of those rolls in the future, but we already have good leads on all that. Small town is helpful in that way, peoples reputations are well know wether good, bad or middling.

glad to hear man, all too familiar with that stage, considering my wife was almost two weeks late haha! My little family is doing well, wife is bouncing back, baby is healthy and a handful.

work is busy, there’s a lot going on. Some nights go by in the blink of an eye but I am also active, not just reactive like some. Don’t care to post anything too specific on here, given I don’t know EVERYONE. Most but not all haha. Shoot me a text some time and I’ll tell ya what’s up:thumbsup:

and yeah lately I’ve been pretty inactive on TW. I check my PMs but that’s about it. Got my hands full at work, with training, and now at home with the kiddo and the house so

I wave at all of them and in two years or so I’ve gotten like 4 waves. Only heavily modified ones wave back so far :pout:

Mine is my neighbor, he can't hide

Framing the walls now that the posts are up. Connecting septic tomorrow, we just need to core the basement wall and connect the pipe from the tank. They did the electric from the company box site to the house today. Electric company is coming to inspect the main connection for the phase 1 and the order has been placed, expected time to pull the power is about 3 weeks. The wife figured out the windows with out contractor and that order was placed as well.

We are still a long way behind you guys though

Theyve knocked back the predictions some, but I think we'll still get a good amount.
