    He’s eight months.

Did you breed him? Just curious as to length of time before neutering.

We rescued him and he was bred before we had him.
Even if we had him as a puppy, we'd have waiting to neuter him for some time but figuring sooner rather than later in case prostate problems arise.

If your dog has this look on his face after just smelling coffee, Those walks on the leash must be
like him dragging you behind him though the neighborhood.

If I get another, I'm not sure the jewels are going anywhere.

Same. But, we'll see. Put down a couple hundred bucks on a litter coming around April. I'll have second pick of the males. Thought I had first pick but owner of bitch said he was taking pick of male and female. What a dick. Good think I really like the guy or I might have told him to stick it.

Yeah, walks on the leash don’t happen but in the morning. We’re at the local baseball field a couple times a day just wearing him out. Rain, shine, it doesn’t matter.
Found that a day of swimming works best though

Ours is 3-1/2 and no problems with dominance or anything like that. But the possible prostate problems with keeping them has me thinking about getting them snipped. Implants are a thing though. Had a friend mention it sort of maybe as a joke and now I think our guy might get some

Ah, nice. Congrats Don. Another Chesapeake or GSP? Or something new?

If you're only removing them because of concern for prostate issues I say leave'im intact. I get about 50/50 when I inquired with a couple vets.

    Neuticals.

I'm starting to feel like the whole thing is a lie. Well, not really but I often wonder if Riley is where he is today because of it. That's based on a lot of discussion prior to his IVDD/Diabetes diagnosis.

Karan’s wife is our vet and they had prostate problems with their Weimaraner at around 8, and she said he wasn’t the same after the prostate complications and neuter. Figure better safe than sorry, even if it was less than 50/50.

    Care to elaborate?
