Wired up the seat heaters for this heatwave we’re having!

Hoping to grab a Meso shift knob next go around to free up the ect button space. For now I Just removed The aux/usb input. and don’t be alarmed. I have a safety switch that must be engaged first for my Harrop e lockers to avoid accidental engagement.

I know it’s late, but it has been kind of a busy day. Thanks to blitzkrieg3002 for the inspiration, I got the passenger side rear seat back installed. I will most likely finish the drivers side rear tomorrow (hopefully). Since I have joined this forum, I have gotten a lot of help, great advice and read some terrific write ups on how to get through issues, and help with mods, so I thought I’d attempt to pass on a bit of info to help out someone that wants to do their rear seat backs like blitzkrieg3002 and I have done for our seat covers. I didn’t want to hack up my seat covers, so I made a “quick and dirty” template to use for making my cuts. Here are some pics. Hopefully it makes some sense to anyone that is going to install these covers, and hopefully it helps out! Cheers!

Very clean job ..... I like that style of switches. If I had it to do over, I’d get those. The ones I bought are nice, but the ease of pushing the switches like the ones you have would be better than rolling the little wheel that Turns mine up and down

Came out super clean! Great job on the template and the write up as well.

Your install came out really good. Doesn’t look like there is any sag in your install. Any tips and tricks? I want to install a set but I have seen some installs and there seems to be sag in most pics that I see. Your install looks nice and tight.

Here are the pics of the custom ones I had them make.

They are going for sale in about a month. I’m changing cars.

Thanks! I just took my time with it and pulled enough from every side until I liked the fit. Best tip I can give you is to remove the seats, it takes less than 5 minutes and you will save a lot of time because it makes the install a lot easier. You do not have to take them out of the truck, just remove the 4 bolts so you are able to move the seat around and adjust everything underneath each one. Also, most people say to put them in the sun for a few hours before the install but I did not, I just left them inside the truck and the heat probably took care of it.

I second removing the 4 bolts when doing the seat bottom. It helped a lot for me.

So I got a set of Clazzio seat covers and installed them yesterday. They seem to be great quality and are a pain to install. I read a whole bunch of reviews on here before pulling the trigger and nobody has really said anything negative. My one comment is that the seatbacks seem loose, when you push down on the material there is a void between the cover and the original seat. I was wondering if that is truly how there are supposed to fit or is it supposed to be snug up against the original seats? It seems like you loose a little bit of the contour of the original seats.. I very well could of screwed up installing them but wanted some feedback before I go and kill my fingers again to remove them. Thanks!

    Center console organizer.
Mine were that way when I first installed them, but after a few months of use... they've contoured to the seat.

This is probably a stupid question. Would the 3rd gen seat covers fit on the second gen sport seats? I really like the way the covers look for the 3rd gens compared to what the option is for 2nd gens. Just not sure they would fit properly on a second gen. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the covers are very different between the third gens and the second gens. They'd likely fit over the seats, but they would not fit well.

 Not a stupid question IMO, The styling of the 3rd gen covers is on point! 2nd gen covers are still nice but the 3rd gens are where its at! :amen:

Received your leather sample and it looks real close to the leather in my truck. Yours has a little more grain to it but I don’t think it is that noticeable. Can you quote me a price for your leather headrests with TRD Sport embroidered in black?
I PM you a couple of times so I thought I would ry here.

It looks like clazzio sometimes goes a month or two in between responses on TW. You might be better off calling them on the phone.

They are on TW just about every day but they are slow in responding.
