It's basically a waiting game for buyers at this point. Production WILL eventually turn around and demand WILL be met. For those able to get 2020's at below MSRP cost right now I think it's worth it, instead of waiting another 6+ months for supply to come back. Glad I picked up my 2020 in February. I should've waited till March-April for the uber sweet deals but I'm happy with my 8% off MSRP.

I've posted a couple times in here already, but I FINALLY got the truck I wanted - 2020 TRD Off-Road 4x4 automatic in Cement. Listed for $41133 and I was able to get it for $37011 after rebates and whatnot. That's 9.98% off the list price/MSRP.

I spent two weeks playing number games with several dealers and this final one wouldn't even budge by $250, so I'm confident I got the best possible deal.

Came with blackout kit, LED headlights, ball mount, predator tubes, premium mats, mudguards, tailgate lock, and bed lights.

Four times as many brake pads on each wheel. Maximum stopping power!

I believe it’s a flashing brake light. Dealers always try to add this stuff.

One of the dealers I went to had that flashing brake light add-on that they did to all new cars they sell. I didn't end up buying/ordering there, but if I had, I for sure would not let them do that crap. Bad enough they do it, but I'm guessing they have to splice into the factory wiring to put some kind of controller in there to do the flashing, which is a big no-no for me!

Wire splicing is one thing, the other major issue I would be worried about is water leaking from a poor third brake light seal

$34,277 after taxes and fees and $5500 down. Got my payments in at like 10 cents short of $600/mo.

Still don't know why so many people are talking about OTD its USELESS, taxes, fees, trade, etc. will vary WIDELY. % off MSRP is what you need to be comparing.

Yeah that's fair. I'm assuming MSRP is the quoted build direct from Toyota.com, right? I think those say MSRP on them.

That comparison makes sense though. Because I was thinking my taxes in Texas are terrible but then you compare to California and South Carolina and the numbers get muddy real quick. And OTD includes money down (like I posted above) and that's not always a thing for some folks.

Cool, so around 6%, what region are you? In COVID market anything off MSRP seems to be good right now. Prior to 10% was the norm, got 13% off without rebate on my last one, seen some guys get 15% with rebate, but during down sales and plenty of inventory, not a bad deal if you need the truck now.

The window sticker, final number. But ya pretty much. Yep and when the numbers get skewed with downpayments, trade credits, varying fees and taxes it totally changes what may be considered a realistic number for someone to shoot for.
