I just found a set of 18x9 wheels with a 4.75" backspace (actually 4.5" but the manufacturer said they could machine it to 4.75 without any structural loss). So i am going to give them a try. I have the Cooper Zeon's 285/60/18 already to go so i am just waiting on the wheels. I will post pic's when i get them installed.

Is the ride noisy? Looks like an option for me. Thanks.

Yeah post pics. Your truck looks great from the first few pics with just the wheels+tires. Curious to see how it looks with the lift now.

Appreciate that! Might go that route in the near future. I like a truck to sound and like a truck. Ruggedness is the look and feel I am after.

Ok. Finally got around to getting some pics of her as she stands right now. The only real differences between the earlier pics and these are the N-Fabs and the 1.5" of lift.

I used standard strut lifts up front. I went with a matched height of 1.5 spacer on the rear...I like the raked look from the front to back, with Bilsteins.

Sorry for the noobnesh. What exactly are strut lift? And spacer for the rear are those blocks? Lastly how does it ride. I really like the stance of your truck and the rake your talking about I'm lovin that.

A strut lift is actually a spacer that is positioned at the top of the front struts in order to push the a-arm lower, thus, raising the truck height. Yes, I used blocks on the back...1.5" blocks to be exact. This means that I went 1.5" spacer in the front and 1.5" blocks in the back. The factory rake of roughly .75" front to back is, therefore, maintained. Make sense?

I've been reading the thread because i would like to go with the same wheel and tire size. So after the 1.5" lift how much did that helped out? How much trimming will i have to do for no rubbing issue? Basicly this i what i want to do: 18" XD Addict matte black w/ 285/60's nitto terra grappler w/ Bilstein 5100 at 1.75" front and 1.5" rear AAL non tsb.

Too bad they don't make that tire in a 285/65R18 or I would be getting some 18s shortly!
