Those look like the switches in my friends 2019 F250... I actually looked into buying them and retrofitting them in the Taco. They are called uplifter or upfitter switches or something.. right?

Got some 265/70/17s today. My old bfgs got prorated, due to some splitting on the sidewall.

I had e loads and if i have known, i would have got c loads. Thanks TW for educating me.

C loads ride much better and the bigger size looks awesome.

Well.. damn.. I just ran out of switch locations so I may have to get in on this too.. Are you using the Ford voltage regulator box?

i did not use a voltage regulator. that absolutely did not cross my mind... but i don't think it's required these days since voltage regulators are almost a thing of the past - or am i incorrect on this?
I more or less followed this guide and there was no mention of it. I've not had any issues the last 2-3 days; http://xplrcreate.com/2020/02/24/f150-diy-aux-upfitter-switches/

The only reason I mentioned it was the Ford switches can come with the regulator box as a kit.

Found this too- It may help with any wiring issues.

I also just got one of the Frontrunner racks for my Diamondback cover. I wasn’t able to install my cover until now because I have a Skycamp Mini and needed Yakima HD Crossbars as an interim solution. That’s tomorrow’s project and then I figure Wednesday or Thursday I’ll install the rack system.

Your install looks good. What spacing from the bent edge did you using for mounting the tracks?

Bro, thanks for the insight. That’s a shame this silly part is giving us a run for Our money. There has to be a Way to get in touch with the subcontractor that makes the part for Toyota and get just the plexiglass. I’m still unpacking my house, but my plan is to use a dremel and cut it from behind (basically cut everything off below and then work toward the glass). I did get the inside trim off and it will need to be glued back on because of the plastic welds that keep it on (but that should be easy sauce compared to getting the plexiglass off.

Looking at the cluster tonight, it may be feasible to cut out the plastic from the back side avoiding the clear plexi completely. I’m going to play around with my broken one tomorrow. If I find anything positive, I’ll post some pictures.

Just had Discount put that tire on my truck, and they are awesome. Super smooth ride and the cornering is far superior to the stock Firestones.

New to the forum, hope this is the right place to post

6'1 guy with a 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport, love the truck..except for rubbing my head as I get in, knew it was going to be an issue after test driving it, but it has begun to grate on me more and more.

Would doing a lift through Toyota solve this issue to give a bit more angle to my entry? Just curious on experiences before I pull the trigger. Apologies if this has been addressed previously and I missed it on another forum
