    My initial strategy when starting to invest for myself in April was looking at where blue-chip stocks were priced at in 2015 and setting buys based off of that. It worked out well then. I wonder if that strategy will come into play again soon.

    I read 3 articles this morning talking about how PSXP was poised for a good recovery once demand picks back up. I just added more. Maybe between PSXP and XOM one of them will make me some money. PSXP ex/eff date is in like 5 days btw

    There are still a lot of stocks that haven't recovered. The market as a whole may have, but if you look at individual companies, there are plenty still beat down.

    Apparently Smith and Wesson and American outdoors did some weird shit with their stock. Smith dropped 12% today and I got a share of American. Not sure wtf is going on there. Now all my share holdings aren't in $100 increments anymore...

    A good way to figure out what is a good deal now (other than just looking at the price on a chart), is to compare current dividend yield to the 5 year average yield. If the current yield is higher than average, for apparently no reason, it's probably undervalued. I get that info here: https://www.yieldchart.com/

    That high current yield thing I mentioned above might actually work for capital gains, I just realized this. I bought a lot of TGT when it was yielding over 4% (way above its average), waited about 2 years, now I am up 92% on it. I don't know if that will work every time but it might.
