I am looking to do this as well. Might have my local wrapper do it for me, but doesn't look hard to do

Does anyone know how to get the DRL’s to be amber when the low beams are off, yet still have them be white when paired with the low beams?

Also, has anyone opened these up yet and painted them and dechromed them?

I almost did to get X-pel. @crashnburn80 made a comment about PPF not being optically clear and that got me reading.

Some cars have issues with the UV hardcoat peeling when PPF is removed (notably Porsche). Since some Pros already have had UV hardcoat issues it wasn’t something I wanted to gamble.

I put a coat of Opti-Seal on it and plan on re-upping it every 2-3 months.

Thank you. I started working my way backwards, thinking that nobody would have modified them near the beginning... should have known MESO would be in there.

I sent him an email about the amber DRL, hopefully I’ll get an answer. I’m wondering if it’s a switchback led or if there are two separate bulbs for DRL and blinker. I’ll look into it soon enough, was just starting to get ideas and researching! Thanks.

Finally place my order and this is the response I get “
    Hi Again,

I'm terribly sorry, but I just heard back from Toyota. They're not shipping out this week; they'll be shipping out late September. I'm so sorry about this backorder issue! We'll keep an eye on them and hopefully they get here sooner than that.

    Thank you.”

Besides the "TRD" and "PRO" wording on the TRD Pro set, is there a difference between the TRD Pro set and the non TRD Pro set? Both are still black housing right?

The non pro version has a thin chrome ring around the DRL. The chrome is honestly not as offensive as I thought it would be.

My friend has the Pro version, the all black is nice, but the Chromed TRDPRO does bother me.

Have anybody open the headlights to black out the chrome ring yet? Or any method to black out the chrome ring?

Meso has. Same procedure as with the Halogen headlights, whip out that Easy-Bake Oven.

Anybody know if these headlights will be used in the 2021 Tacoma Nightshade Edition or will it be a different version of these headlights that will be completely blackout to give the nightshade edition something unique?
