How're you pressing em in and out? I have an OTC ball joint hand press thing that .... kinda worked. Took me many hours

The receiving cup you're using, any chance you can measure them in MM? Inside/outside diameter that is.

I bought an OTC kit awhile back on Amazon and it never delivered.

I had also bought a larger receiving cup that never delivered.

Months later and I still never got a refund for the cup but did for the kit.

Anyway I want to buy a set again from somewhere else hoping I receive them and want to make sure I either have the cup I need with said kit, or know that I have to buy one.

 

Uea thats like the one I have... any issues with the cups not quite fitting? Did you have to rent the 4wd adapter kit with it?

Just don't want to take my stuff apart one day to be like "fuck, receiving cup doesn't fit completely around the UBJ"

I cut the shaft off just like you did to press it out. Pressing in was way worse for me

 

it fits 3/4 of the way then you use your BFH to help it

 

Mushroomed metal> red locktite

 

I didn’t cut the shaft thing off, I just took this thing out of the press and put the shaft in the bolt

Is this the kit you ordered or did you get the genuine OTC?

Didn't realize I bought the knock off lol

 

I ordered a genuine OTC kit, but I never received it.

That's why I'm asking, I never got to mess with the kit.
