    When I was getting back in Toy today after the oil and coolant changes the tech that worked on him saw me and came out. He complimented me on keeping Toy in such good shape, said its been a while since he's seen one so nice and well kept. I gave him a brief history of me owning it, "loaning" it to dad for a few years and getting it back last year. Told him the only way I'm parting with Toy again is one of us dies!

    I get the same when I bring it in for service , they take extra care not to get any finger or hand prints on the paint or interior . I've even had mechanics or service writers want to buy it and been offered serious $$$$$$$ money for it

    Mom and dad had a few people stop as they were driving past the house, saw Toy, and walked up to see if it was for sale. Of course they said no. Then last year a lady they know, I went to school with one of her daughters, stopped and asked if it was for sale and said she was looking for a Toyota for her youngest son. Mom said no but she'd keep it in mind if things changed. Then a couple months later they were looking at 3rd gens and my first question was "what are you going to do with MY Baby Toy?!?!" Mom explained that so and so had wanted it for her son. I said no. No way was he going to some high school kid who would never really appreciate him. I didn't work my butt off taking care of him all those years for him to be trashed by some punk kid. Chevy wasn't even in the picture yet but I knew I wasn't going to let Toy out of the family. He stays. He earned his place. All worked out in the end. Chevy isn't practical for the daily driving stuff and I was buying him strictly to haul the camper. Figured I'd get some $500 crap car on CL to drive to work so long as it got decent MPGs. I'm better off having Toy back.

    35000 gallons in a month.

    Water main, I would guess. It above the level of the house and we are on sandy soil so I hope the foundation is ok
