rustoleum tends to be more glossy than duplicolor that’s the only reason I don’t like it.

I was bored and reading through my bobbed thread and found a good "before" pic for my bed rails. They didn't look bad by any means, but the cut is still very visible.

 

As in GOOD if you want to make me cringe.

 

Good as in it accurately depicted what my bedrails looked like before I built my steel ones.

My foam tape came in for my rails so I put the bed back together. I also put D rings up front instead of the Toyota cleats. They wouldn’t fit the extra wide loop of this heavy duty strap which is why I’ve been using a regular baby tie down.

 

Figured you'd just integrate a Ram style in-bedside storage!! Hinge point already defined and all!

 

Hmmmm...I see a new repurposed D ring mod that's just a few t-nuts away from being reality.

EDIT: shit I realize I need a rear rail (though I don't have a powertank mounted there)!

 

It’s super secure. I wiggle the tire fore and aft and the whole damn wall of the bed flexes. The tire ain’t going anywhere.

Then he couldn't use his secret bed rack and roof top tent he hides from us.
