I have a Tom Woods 1 piece now. Tom Woods sells longer ones, but I dont want to pay $10 for 4, and then $10 for shipping.. Reason Im asking, is the threads dont come all the way through the nuts.

    https://4xshaft.com/collections/toyota-products/products/toyota-drive-shaft-bolts

I have the OEM ones on there now with blue loctite. I guess Ill just leave them or check the torque once in a while. I put them at gud-n-tight when I put them on.

That sounds sketchy at best. Remove one and take it to the store and figure out the size, and just buy longer ones in the same diameter. The ones listed on their site don't have that self-centering thing, so a hardware store bolt will work fine apparently.

Or just buy their set because that really isn't that expensive (quality hardware isn't cheap) and you know it fits.

Also, keep in mind strength grade 8.8 in Metric isn't the same as Grade 8 in imperial bolts. Grade 8 imperial ~= Grade 10.9 metric

projects to complete this year (probably in the order in which they will be done) :

    - redo rear seat platform in HDPE
    - order TC dual shock mount from DownSouth Motorsports
    - order MT dual shock from Accutune
    - possibly mock up bed bolt mounting tubes to go to rack, since Im keeping it now

I dont think I need a serpentine belt because I did mine recently. But I did notice that one of the pulleys was making a slight noise.

I also have steering rack bushings to install. And I want to gather parts for the waterpump replacement.

It looks like soon temps might be falling, so its prime time to do some maintenance. And whenever I start my new job, Ill be off in the day time.

I also think I need new front calipers. My brakes pull to the right under hard braking.
