    I always felt that as soon as you enter autorotation it’s now the insurance companies helicopter lmao :rofl:and any day you walk away from a flight is a great day, it’s just bonus points if the helicopter makes it too. I’m getting my instrument rating first, then on to commercial, CFI and CFII :headbang: check the build thread if you want! It’s slow going but moving

    I’ve had great luck with controllers in my limited experience. Just have to remember everyone on the other end of the radio is also JUST a human being too.

    No, but you get some sweet experiences overseas. :D

    Contracting supply companies use Mi-26 helos for logistics in certain theaters. I've done HLZ logistic operations on a combat outpost operating a forklift, downloading and uploading supplies via forklift or sling-load. With multiple platforms, too.

    For sure mistakes will be made on both ends. If something is to happen see if you can speak with that person on a unrecorded line to hash it out. That will save you a lot of headache with filing a safety violation or vice versa.

    Good sound advice, I will say I have the most respect for y’all when dealing with new student pilots or just flat out incompetent pilots. That would drive me up the WALL :annoyed:
