I'm confused. I know the side bins, top rack, and table are optional. Are the side windows? Couple posts here make it sound like they're standard.

Yes, if it comes with the articulating roof rack that I can load a kayak onto, the table, the kitchen - it is worth C$5000 and I'll buy one. A Yakima roof rack with mounts is C$2000 on its own.

Those definitely are extra. It does come with roof tracks installed though.

Roof tracks are standard on both the evo and evo c. Evo c is more of a “contractors” model with solid side panels and a security mesh in the rear window. Those are just the main differences I remember off the top of my head.

Pretty sure that would be above my wife's head and she's the cook. I'd have to get her a A-frame ladder to use it.

Went with a Leer xr cause cost matters. Like the design and modular approach though.

Thanks. It actually makes the price better than the RLD.

Just put the $50 pre-order down through my local Cap-it on the RSI after looking at the demo in their showroom. Looks pretty well thought out and a little more "refined" than the RLD, but extremely similar. Doesn't seem to be much for reviews over this side of the pond so far on them though.

Just watched the install video. It doesn’t appear to have any kind of gasket between any of the pieces you assemble. If this is the case, how can this make a good seal and keep dust out when off roading? Am I missing something?

I'm likin' the windoors on this cap, nice departure from the Schwan's doors on the RLD cap.

Update on delivery time: the company I’m purchasing mine through (All American Truck and SUV Accessories) told me there are 21 in stock in a warehouse in the Midwest. They told me 7-10 business days for delivery to me (Portland,OR area) but could be sooner as 7-10 days in what the distribution company quotes even if it’s “2 miles down the road”

Bet you can’t tell I’m anxious lol!
