I want to install functional fog lights that actually project out under the fog. What are my options? Willing to pay for quality set up.

The factory TRD Off Road fogs are pretty good, but if I was to do it again I would go with the SS3 from Diode Dynamics.

Thanks! These are $11 a piece vs the $28 a piece for the SR5s. I'm surprised the cheaper part is on the more expensive trim. Anyone know the difference between the two?

Had my SR up to the mountains today. I met another TW member at hickory run state Forrest to sell my oem running boards. Real nice up there and it gave me an opportunity to do some light off pavement trail driving. I logged about 250 miles today 30 of which were off road. My SR was fine in every situation. I'm actually glad I dont have the stiffer suspension. Rocky and uneven terrain went smooth. I will say -- coming from a peppy 02 V6, this 2.7 is a turd. It just feels like anything in mid range is a struggle. I drive over here near the Jersey Shore mostly, so the 2.7 really showed its true colors on hilly terrain. 200 miles at 75mph ate gas but not as bad as I thought. I still averaged 18.6mpg.

I'm seriously considering dropping some coin on an LCE header. Just want to get some opinions from folks who have installed and ran them. I'm assuming itll keep my mpg in the same range. Wondering if its worth $500 in terms of that sluggish mid range throttle response on the 2.7.

Just aesthetics it looks. Wonder if the angles effect the beam in any way?

it shouldn’t, the fogs are angled by their fit in the bumper. The covers are just that, covers. I have OR fogs and SR5 bezels and they work fine together.

I'm looking at the pictures you posted very carefully and I can't tell the difference. I'm betting that you couldn't tell the difference 10 feet away.

You do what makes you happy. Life is too short. My Taco makes me happy.

The fogs sit in slots on the stock bumper and are held in place by one screw. Any adjustment is done on the bulb inside the fog light housing, not the mount. Its just a piece of glass with a couple plastic tabs on it. Its the same exact fog light housings as several other Toyota models. No joke. The bezels make absolutely no difference in fog light performance.

I have researched a ton, read a shit ton of forums. and am still left with this question. without switching over to fan cooled lights what has everyone hd best luck with I honestly dont cae if the throw is farther. I just want a decent set of headlight bulbs that are a little brighter.

Nice truck! Do you know if your headlights will fit aftermarket LEDs? I've been wanting some aftermarket headlights like those but everything I've seen so far seems to point that you can't really switch out the headlamps.

Thanks! I don't know about the LEDs I haven't changed mine out since I bought them. Sorry I couldn't give you better answer.
