They make this for a reason: Honestly I would recommend this or a much cheaper option is a couple hockey pucks drilled and bolted to the frame for anyone that has too much up travel. Cheap insurance for $400+ worth of leaf springs.

 

Would highly highly recommend roll cage + harness/seatbelt. Spent almost 2 years trying to get back to normal after hitting a curb and flipping at 35ish. Looked very similar to yours, Predator motor and all!

a seat belt is a great idea. I was thinking a ratchet strap. I mean seriously, for temp use.
Or maybe I could use the old rear seat belt stuff from the Tacoma, that might be better in case of a need to quick release scenario. Either way it's a potential death mobile right now. But so much fun.

 

I found the center male portion of the seat belt, from the front bench seat, which is adjustable in length by pulling on it. And has a quick release.
the female portion is still elusive.
