    Huge upsell opportunity missed.

They make this for a reason: Honestly I would recommend this or a much cheaper option is a couple hockey pucks drilled and bolted to the frame for anyone that has too much up travel. Cheap insurance for $400+ worth of leaf springs.

Would highly highly recommend roll cage + harness/seatbelt. Spent almost 2 years trying to get back to normal after hitting a curb and flipping at 35ish. Looked very similar to yours, Predator motor and all!

a seat belt is a great idea. I was thinking a ratchet strap. I mean seriously, for temp use.
Or maybe I could use the old rear seat belt stuff from the Tacoma, that might be better in case of a need to quick release scenario. Either way it's a potential death mobile right now. But so much fun. :D:burp:

I found the center male portion of the seat belt, from the front bench seat, which is adjustable in length by pulling on it. And has a quick release.
the female portion is still elusive.

Just wrap yourself in bubble wrap and duct tape a homer bucket on your head.
    You know, for safety.

If you don't have the latest Toyota update, I would go for it. I would avoid tuners until you're out of powertrain warranty.

Pretty sure he has a wife and kids, but I thought tuning was his day job. He hired someone else to help out, and has a lot more going on then writing tunes for Tacomas. New in-house designed wifi flash dongle thing, Tundra and some Lexus model tunes, and Tacoma twin turbo kit are all all active projects AFAIK.

Don't get me wrong, I'm disappointed in how fast some things have happened and the level of customer service. That can happen when your small business blows up. I'm fine with the current beta tune I'm running, and when the real 2.0 final release gets here, it gets here. There is a small, but quite whiny, group in the dev thread that seem to 1) have an Amazon prime, it should be here yesterday attitude, and 2) don't seem to understand how software development works, especially on a system that you are reverse engineering because you don't have the specs.
